Cool, now we just need to get that grower in contact with the chef that made the worlds biggest burger! :)
Mr. Glazebrook also holds the world record for heaviest potato, heaviest parsnip, and longest beetroot. The mind boggles. I would be agog to see a film detailing how he got started, showing his set-up for this extravaganza of hugeness---does he grow just regular stuff too, like maybe a geranium or coleus? Or 'garden-variety' tomatoes? Does his wife share his interest? And: what the ? is 'John Innes Number 3 soil'??? ---------------------------------------------------------- Answered my own question: http://www.jic.ac.uk/corporate/media-and-public/compost.htm
Stupendous! Was glad to see that the video poster DID win a First for his pepper plant. I'm thinking that a Second among such magnificence is not too shabby!
