    Mr. Glazebrook also holds the world record for heaviest potato, heaviest parsnip, and longest beetroot.
    The mind boggles.

    I would be agog to see a film detailing how he got started, showing his set-up for this extravaganza of hugeness---does he grow just regular stuff too, like maybe a geranium or coleus? Or 'garden-variety' tomatoes? Does his wife share his interest?

    And: what the ? is 'John Innes Number 3 soil'???

    Was glad to see that the video poster DID win a First for his pepper plant.
    I'm thinking that a Second among such magnificence is not too shabby!
