I really like this website! Sometimes it's a little hard to find signs of intelligent life on the web, with all the chatrooms offering "hot singles" when I'm looking for COMMON SENSE.
Since you folks are so gracious, can anyone tell me something about a plant called the woodrose, from its seedpod? I ran across it often growing wild in Hawaii (I lived on Oahu, and visited Kaui - paradise on earth for kids, both!).

    I'm pretty sure it's a morning glory.

It's either Convolvulus nervosa or Argyreia nervosa.
