I think I just discovered gold - in the form of long out of print books that are available for download. I was looking for "Fruit-Grower's Guide", a book from 1924 and found all 6 volumes available for download. It is really great to read so much historical information about fruit growing and culture - and how to prune. Even back then they were complaining about the taste of fruit bought in grocery stores.
