I have a mature wisteria tree on my property which bloomed this spring (for whatever reason it does not bloom every year. During blooming about 1 week ago we had a 27 degree freeze. Have noticed this week that much of the foliage is brown and curled up including where this wisteria has made it's way to a nearby fence. Could the frost have caused this problem and are there long range ramifications? larrys39

If it's a Chinese Wisteria, I know you've nothing to worry about. The Chinese variety is invasive. It's good at reaching out to neighboring trees and fences and swallowing them up. I've got one behind the house here. It's pretty, but I have to lay into it every couple of years to keep it from killing trees.
