can water irises and some of the grasses in our water garden be kept over winter? What should we do for them?

    Dear djlorette,
All of my plants (Irises, Water lillies, sweet flag) stay in the pond all winter. They are all under the water, anywhere from (1" - 12" deep) depending on the plant. I have tried over wintering the water hyacinths & lettuce, but you need a warm or cool greenhouse to do so.
    Hope this helps,
    Charles
