Hi, we have some Mexican fan palms and some windmill palms that we planted in late summer. I was wondering if there's a need to winterize here in central Texas. The temperature is supposed to be about 30 tonight (odd, but true). One of the windmill palms is about 4 feet tall and is drooping severely--even though it's fronds are green. I'm worried about that one. Should I go ahead and cut the fronds off for the winter or just leave it be? Thanks so much for any advise.
