My pencil cactus has gotten really big since last year, my question is how do I prepare it for winter? At 9 1/2 ft. tall its not going to fit inside of my house. Can someone tell me what to do?

If it freezes there then I don't seen any option other than cutting a few feet off the top and bringing it in. From what you say it should grow back in no time next year. Root all of the chucks you take off and give them away.
