I have started my first fig tree this year. It has done quite well on my deck in Martha't Vineyard (Zone6-7). I had planned to winterize it in a unheated garage. I have read conflicting opinions on the subject. I think I will propigate a few suckers---just in case it doesn't make it. Any thoughts on the subject? Charlie
