Hi, we are going to have a major storm dumping from 1-2ft of snow along the east coast of U.S this weekend. I am welcome any tips, insight on how we prepare or watch for in order to help protecting our JMs, those are in the ground as well as on the pots.
    Thank you so much, steven.

Hi, hopefully it's not wet heavy snow and you are able to keep too much from accumulating on the branches. I expect you're ready to use a snow blower or broom to keep the snow load down. Narrowly forked and twiggy branches seem to be particularly susceptible to the snow damage. Even if the snow is dry and then goes to rain seems to cause the most damage here. Good luck.

Wet and heavy snow is expected in south east pa. 12-18 inches expected, Blizzard conditions.
I'll shovel my drive way and steps then crack a cold one. Once I warm up I will tend to my smaller trees. Going around one by one.
My wife and my neighbors think I'm crazy.

About 75% of my trees are covered with snow. We got a little more then expected 24" +. At least the snow is fluffy.
