Hello, this is my first post. There is a lot of useful information on this forum and I am hoping someone can give me advice on how to store my JM rootstock for the winter. I plan on trying my hand at winter grafting. Currently they are in my hoop house which is 8' x 24' and 6' in height. It is covered with white plastic but not heated. The 300 rootstock plants are on the ground in 3" pots all pushed together. Do I need to bring them into my unheated garage? I am in Northwest Ohio, zone 6a. It gets down to zero degrees or colder most winters. Any advice would be appreciated!!

I would be concerned about air temps in the hoop house. I think unheated garage a good way to go. I used to graft and that is how I handled my rootstock in Iowa. I would bring in to unheated garage when outside temps fell below 30F
