Hi everyone im new to the forums. I need a bit of help with my windmill palm trees. Im sorry to say that Ive been neglectful in caring for them and a few have died. I dont think it was due to climate or nutrients because a few others have continued growing just fine. The ones that died all displayed the same symptoms.
Its a bit hard to describe..but ill do the best that i can...
The leaves in the area where the budding occurs (i.e. the centre top crown area) , all died before they completely matured, its almost as if they got stuck while growing... now they look like brownish dead spikes at the centre...the outer mature leaves eventually died also

It could be under watering them or not fertilizing them properly. I am new with chinese windmill palms I just started growing some myself, but the symptoms discribed seems like listed on top. Hope this helps,
