I have three hanging baskets of fuschia. Two are doing great but one has started to wilt (recently). It has not dried out. I did have it hanging under our automatic sprinklers for one week while I was away (watered twice in the week), 2 weeks ago, which is the only "new" thing that has happened to it. The other two baskets, that were in the same conditions, are fine however. Im almost thinking it must be a fungus or other disease but I cant find any information. Being in a hanging basket, it drains well. Any ideas most appreciated! Ive had the three baskets for over 2 years now, grew from tiny seedlings, so would hate to lose it!

Soil might be dry on the inside and you don't realize it.

No checked that - it is moist through, the basket is heavy after watering. Also thought water might be getting trapped so put more holes in basket but no drainage.

If a plant gets too wet and the roots start to die then top wilts also, since it is not being adequately supplied.
