Will Raspberry cross

    Iam new to this site.And know very little about rasberry's.I put out some Fall Gold Raspberry last year,we have some wild RASPBERRY,S on some mountains that we own.My question is can i put them close together.I do not know if they cross or not.

    Howdy Rapala,
    Sure they will cross pollinate each other. But if you are only harvesting the berries for eating and not collecting seeds, there is no problem growing them close to each other. The wild ones may be a source of pests and diseases. But, that's the chance you have to take unless you are willing to completely eradicate the wild stand - something I'm against for the sake of biodiversity.
