Might be a silly question, but I've got a cedar hedge that I don't care for, and recently to my happy surprise it's been taking over by wild raspberries from behind the fence. I absolutely love this (the look and the functionality :), and was wondering if I could just plant some grape vines in front of it and let them have a go, too...
Any thoughts on whether this would work, or would I just be blowing my money?
    Thanks!

Grapes will grow on just about any tree or shrub that is available. Plant them near the hedge rather than beneath or inside of it so they can establish without being affected by conditions close to the hedge.
