Wildflower south africa

    Here is a colored wildflower seen along a road of the west coast of South Africa.
    Does someone knows its name?

    Looks like it might be some kind of Mesemb but too far away to tell for sure. South Africa has a huge number of plant species.

    I guess it belongs to composite, but not sure for more specific information. I am only a fancier of botany but not professional.

    No, Ron is right, it's a "Mesemb" (family Aizoaceae), possibly a species of Drosanthemum.
