Wildflower Identification Please.

    Thjis pretty flower is often appears in large quantities. Some-one told me it was commonly called Indian Paint Brush, but it doesn't appeatr to be so from looking at pictures on the Internet. I encountered this one in Northern Ontario.

    I would appreciate a name.

    Hieracium sp., probably/possibly Hieracium aurianticum.

    Hawkweed is a common name.
