I'm A New Member And Have Just Read The Advice And Discussions On Appropriate Title-ing So Here Goes! The Season Has Been So Late And Vicious This Year That I Would Like Suggestions On When Various Spring Wildflowers Will Be At Their Peak In The Gulf Islands......what Is The Usual Succession Of Species? What Are The Best Sites? Accessible By Boat? Thank You In Advance And I Won't Take Offence If Told This An Inappropriate Question

Depends on what kinds you're looking for but I'd expect a general peak sometime in May.

When looking for new places to photograph locally, I always visit John Harvey's site - he's very diligent about writing where and when he's been someplace in the province, and often takes more than a few wildflower / wildlife photographs when he's been there. Consult the Southern Gulf Islands section.

I'd be interested in any replies to your original question as well, though - it'd be handy to know where might be a good place to explore.
