we have found what we think are wild onions near port alberni, in a stream and all around the flood line, in clumps of moss. they are the size of green onions. Appear and smell like onions. Are these wild and native to this area?

Nodding onion Allium cernuum is native to BC and quite a lot of North America. White flowers, about 9" tall, usually in patches, often in clearings near the beach in the Gulf Islands.
