Wild Ground cover

    I have this growing instead of grass! I have no idea where they came from, but they are here to stay. I like the tiny little flowers. What do you think it is? Leeta

    piccy #1 looks like Viola odorata or sweet violet. (lovely perfume)
    #2 looks like a variety of veronica or speedwell

    Left plant is definitely a violet, but there are many species. Without examining one of yours up close and looking at technical characters I don't know how we can be certain of the species.

    Right plant is Glechoma hederacea.
