Is this some Convolvulaceae? I am puzzled.

The fruit looks like Wood Rose, which would be Merremia, a Convolvulaceae. It sort of looks like Merremia quinquefolia, which I was going to say belongs in Mozambique, not in South America, but now I see several pages that say it's native to the Americas.
