My daughter brought home this berry she found while on a walk, she said it was growing amongst some Muscadine vines on the side of the road. The berry is similar to a blueberry minus the star at the end the inside is clear with a single seed that looks like a grape seed to me but I'm definitely not an expert! I put it to my tongue and it has a sweet taste to it. We are in Coastal Georgia south of Savannah if that helps any. Thank you for your help
Thanks for helping Saltcedar......It looks like it.I looked it up and it says that pepper vine berry is a dry fruit with 2 to 5 seeds. This one is more like a grape texture inside and I opened 4-5 and they all had 1 seed. What does dry fruit mean anyway? Is that like apple texture? I really want to know if they are edible because my DD says there is a lot and I would love to try my hand at making Jelly. Thanks again!!
