It is kept indoor, near east-facing window, and gets quite a lot of sunlight everyday.
Initially, I noticed it's growth was very slow. It had two new sets if leaves, and while one grew at a relatively higher speed, the other remained small for weeks, and then the tips of leaves started to go black, and eventually all of them fell.

Now, there are several leaves with growing brown/black spots. I thought that it might be overwatering, but the soil is just moist, and it dries up quite quickly too.
The leaves, especially the affected ones, fall quite easily.

Can anyone help me with this?

    Welcome to the Forums.

Don't know what the problem may be but you may want to have a closer look at the leaves. The leaves in far right of the first and last photos appear to have some scale on them.
