I have been browsing the wholesale listings of some nurseries, and have come across the term "OR" in the pricing block....

    anyone know what this means?

Maybe Own Root. Or perhaps Oregon. Catalog or site should have a key to abbreviations, although I realize it may not.

That one is grown from cuttings as well as grafted, so Own Root again would be the likely meaning. You should be able to tell by what other terms are used in the same spot.

    bmarley5780,

Judging from the use on the website you linked to, my guess would be that it means "on request". It looks like if you buy quantities of some plants at that nursery that they will give a negotiated price.

Or if it's a plant that is difficult to propagate, or slow to divide, or scarce on their stock, or much sought after.............. You will have to contact them to get a price quoted on request.

I've seen that one before, too. If they don't indicate in the catalog what it means you may have to call to be sure.
