Who am I? 3 leaf red stem, with berries similar to blueberries

    I am trying to identify this bush (see picture) and want to know if the berries are edible.

    Mahonia sp. - the ripe berries are edible but seldom eaten.

    Because they're very sharp! Full of vitamin C though.

    People make jelly or jam from the berries, and I'm sure I read something last spring about squeezing the berries on salads instead of lemon juice, and I did that with some from a cultivar on my balcony. I see that you can use the flowers in salads as well.
