I'm fairly certain this is a good old White Russula, and the hill behind the house is full of lobster mushrooms (which, as I understand, usually use the russula as host), but would appreciate confirmation. Anyone? Thanks in advance.

    Greetings!

Yes it looks like a Russula, but it is hard to tell for certain from the photo, as there are other white mushrooms out here with this kind of size / stature, such as some Amanitas, Hygrophorus, Tricholomas.

    Congrats on the Lobsters! :-)

Thank you, amphibious one. It's been quite a year for lobsters and chanterelles.
