Identification: White fungus

    Saw this white fungus on a slippery slope at QE Park today.
    Did not want to chance falling down, and only took picture of it.
    They are entirely white with narrow protrusions all over.
    Is it possible to ID?

    Hi David - Not sure, need to see the underside. I would expect the underside to have split gills ... but if not, if the underside and topside were the same, would need a closer shot to see if this is a case of a fungus growing on another fungus.

    I will take another look when it is not so icy.
