I was in the Okanagan near Summerland on the labour day long weekend. I found this flower at the top of the Giant's Head Mountain. The closest I could find was Lithophragma glabrum but it's the wrong colour and while the pedals are the right shape, there are too many of them. Any ideas?

Awsome. I'm guessing Centaurea diffusa - the photo in Wildflowers of PN is a good match.

    Thanks!
