Any guesses what this plant is? It mysteriously appeared in my garden. At first it looked like a blade of grass as it was growing up. It's about a foot and a half tall. Could this be a bulb?

    Could be also Muilla.

Interesting key for the relatives of Allium:

I suggest to smell this plant to be sure.

Thanks! It looks like a mullia for sure. It was hard to tell if it had an onion smell or not; there isn't a strong odour.

    Triteleia hyacinthina is also similar.

Yes, it looks very much like Triteleia hyacinthina. Sorry for my mistake.

Thank you David and Sundrop! Just checked out the photos of Triteleia Hyacinthia and that is definitely what it is. Really excited to find a native plant in my garden. Cheers!
