I have a "pot" of bulbs that begin with a tall thin blade-leaf, not unlike a skinny iris blade, and blooms with a stem of white flowers (6 petals) and each petal with small dark purple pointed spot at the center. The blooms open from the bottom to the top, lasting about a day each. More buds, hence flowers, grow on the top of the stem. Cannot identify them in on-line search locals. Help MUCH appreciaated. WOW, what a quick response. THANK YOU -- I used the name and found it in several places. Didn't have any idea that it belonged in the "glad" family.
