I am in southern Ontario (zone 5). I have a little patch of strawberries and raspberries and i want to move them to a better location so i can start some rows and so they don't overtake the garden that they are in now. Does anyone know when i should be transplanting these. Should i be waiting until it gets to a constant 65F or can i move these plants as soon as the ground is workable to dig in. And of coarse if anyone has any tips so i don't kill the plants while doing this would be great.

You could transplant as soon as the frost has left the ground. Be aware though that if you have clay soil, digging in it when it's soaking wet really compresses the soil structure which will set back your plants. If it's loam or sandy, go for it.
