I haven't ever had one of these. This one is from a funeral. I have had it since December. It seems mostly healthy, but really wants to fall down.. I repotted it today, hoping if I anchored it better in the soil, it would stand. But, I don't see any difference. Any suggestions, or is this the way they are supposed to grow? Should I leave well enough alone? I'm holding the plant up in the second picture here.

It is Syngonium podophyllum. It is a climber & grows well on a support of a moss stick. However If it grows tal, it looses colour on terminal growth& become almost green. So the new growth if it is pinched off, new suckers & side shoots grow. Thus the plant remains compact. It needs semi shade & humid location. Easily propagated from stem cuttings or by division.

i agree it needs more water and sun .. and they like to hang ... ive had mine in hanging baskets and they did great ..
yours is short enough that it will stand up for now with watering.. and sun ...
but you can let it go when it gets bigger ..

thanks canadian! I actually ended up moving this plant to a sunnier window, and my boyfriend gave it a support beam a few days ago, and its ok . It was fine the whole time, I'm sure, but was ready for some kind of support. I like it as a climber better than a falling vine I think..

Thanks again for all your time and assistance.
