what's this tree

    My neighbor has a tree w/ leaves or blooms that are long and white, and they look like marabou feathers.

    Thanks for the reply. The white fluff on the tree in your pic is not like the one I'm trying to identify. I'll try to get a pic, and hopefully the blooms are still there.

    Definitely a Populus, next it's just a matter of determining which one.

    BINGO! Found pics of fringe tree. Don't know if there are many varieties... my friend's tree has much thicker branches and trunk, but the flowers are the same.
