Identification: whats this plant?

    i was given this plant today and i thought it might be a lipstick vine but its nothing like my other lipstick plant.. can someone give me some idea what it is and how to care for it please.. and thank you.. very much

    I'm not sure it is A. marmoratus, which is a synonym of A. longicaulis as is A. zebrinus. The flowers of that one is described as being pale green.

    A page with numerous photos of Aeschynanthus spp. can be found at http://www.gesneriads.ca/genaesch.htm. I didn't see one with flowers as bright a yellow as yours but the pics are worth a look anyway. Perhaps yours is a hybrid.

    thank you for your help, i searched through all the pics that you linked me too and the closest one i could find to what i have is the Black Pagoda in the hybrid section.. the leaves are dark purple underneath and they are way bigger leaves than on my regular lipstick plant.. anyways thanks again for your help..
