I got these plants from Walmart. One died to only a stump. I cut off the dead parts and now it is coming back. It came back quickly for a while, but now it looks like the photo. Does anyone know what it is and some ideas on caring for it?
The other plant, looks like some kind of fern. It is healthy and growing rapidly. Anyone know what kind it is?

    Thanks!!

#1 is a Dumbcane .. they are kinda a touchy plant to grow .. leave the water out over night when watering ..and dont water to much .. and filtered light .. and mist it and see if you have spider mites .. if you see a webbing they spray for them ... those lil bugs loves those plants ..

#2 is a type of Croton . you can google that and get what kind it is .. it isnt to hard to find that one .. pretty common .. and you will get some info on it...

I googled the croton - Perfect!

But the dumbcane/dieffenbachia looks so much smaller than the ones on all of the webpages. Even the leaves are tiny! How do I save it? And what do I mist the leaves with if it has those spidermites? Or could I just wash the leaves with soap and water? Does it need lots of sun?
    Help! :)

it looks smaller cause of lack of sun .. for now just mist it with water .. to see if you have spider mites or if it is bad enough you can see the webbing .. im not sure about the soap and water . ive never done that .. but you could wash the leaves under water ...like givieng it a shower ..but make sure you dont soak the dirt alot ..that could really do it in .. or you can buy a spider mite spray .. let the dirt dry out a lil before watering it again .. hope this all helps ..
