What's this? It's on a south-facing rock, north vancouver isle

    What's this plant? It was on a south-facing rock, north vancouver isle, within a meter or two of the high tide line. I recall seeing these guys in various places, always very close to the high tide line, and thinking to myself, "they must be adapted to survive salt spray", because they'd sure get lots of it.

    Stonecrops are common to rocky areas throughout the region. The top notch S. spathulifolium is native here.

    This looks like our native Sedum oreganum (Oregon stonecrop). Google images.
