Identification: what's the name of this small plant ?

    looks like it's a sort of cactus.
    leaves (don't know whether it's right or not to call this leaf) are similar to tail of scorpion !


    pale green, small sized : around 5"

    Rather than cactus, check out crassula. It looks like it should belong to that family, but not sure. barb

    thanks barb, seems you're right.
    many species of that family are similar to it.
    my guess is : Crassula brevifolia.

    Looks like Corpuscularia lehmannii...

    So it's an ice plant. No longer living in California that didn't even come to mind. So, plantexy, you have information from one of the best members of this forum. barb
