What's Eating My Climbing Hydrangea

    Here's photo taken today. This plant is only in it's second year and same thing happened last year but not until several months after planting from the nursery. Most people seem to say it's impossible to get rid of the dreaded pests. Would it help to relocate the plant elsewhere?

    Look for weevils at night, with a flashlight. The adults straddle the edge of the leaf and chew out irregular notches. You could hand pick those. The larvae gnaw the roots. Drenches recommended for them required to address that part of the problem. Ask at a garden center.
