A row of shrubs Sophora sp discovered today with severe damage. The new growth of each branch has turned a grey colour with all of it's leaves dropped. The damage seems to start from the apical growth and not so much on the bottom lateral growths.
This damage can be seen in all of the Sophora sp growing in that area but none of the other types of plants are affected. The Sophora sp are in a bad state with yellow leaves and major leaf shed.

Please does anyone know what is causing this? I can't seem to see any pest..

    Thanks in advance
