Whats a pip

    I have seen many talk/write about starting/propagating from pips. What EXACTLY are these and how does one find/make one? Please answer in laymans terms as my horticultural trems knowledge is somewhat lacking.

    A pip is a seed.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Here I was thinking it was a special part of the plant and similar to rooting cuttings. I suppose I have plenty of "pips" now that I know what they are.
