    Hello!

I have a plant that just appeared this year, growing right in the middle of my flower garden. I thought the leaves were similar to my strawberry plants that I had growing in a container on the patio last summer near that location where these plants are now growing now. However, these plants have gotten much bigger than my strawberry plants that were in containers, and the flowers are yellow, not white like my strawberry plants were. Husband said it is a weed and to pull it out but I said lets wait and see.

Do you know what it could be? Hope these pictures help.....

    Thanks!

Potentilla of some sort? Not sure, though.

Looks like rough cinquefoil, Potentilla norvegica.

Is it a weed? Or should I leave it? It seams to be taking over the garden....

It's a weed if a bunch is coming up and you don't want it.
