Whatchamacall this one?

    It's probably not a bamboo since it dies down in fall - can anybody name this plant? I understand it's extremely fast growing - just the thing I need! Thank you.

    Be careful with this plant... The response to disturbance is to spread, we have found plants that have traveled under paved roads(from one side to the other). So if you plan on eradicating it have a plan and make sure you can keep up with it, I have seen yards overtaken by it.

    Yep, definitely NOT a keeper! One of the worst weeds going. Good luck with trying to get rid of it – it won't be easy!
