What type of Japanese Maple????

    Friend gave me this plant. Not sure what type of JM it is. It only has 1 branch and it is growing really tall. I don't know how to care for it. Please help. Thank you

    1° position:partial shade sum morning,shade afteroonr
    2° soil:for acid plant
    3° water :moderate with umidity costant
    4°pot:good dreinage by vulcan stone or similar products
    5°prune° not necessare
    6°type ,corrrect definition is "cultivar"
    for me is Palmatum subsp. palmatum ,but for correct Id send pics in autum or spring

    Maybe a seedling, if a cultivar it would likely be grafted.

    It isn't typical wild-type Acer palmatum, the leaf lobe margins are too deeply serrated for that.
