Identification: what type of Amanita?

    S.E. British Columbia. Just discovered these at drip line of Spruce tree. Caps range from bulbous to flat shaped.
    Have never observed before on this property.

    Hi @Joel McBoring , welcome to the forum,
    Lovely find - Amanita gemmata group
    So far we seem to have an ongoing extension of the seriously prolific Fall 2019 season ... lots of things fruiting in spots they have not been observed fruiting in before.
