What tropical tree - pinnate leaves, candle-looking hanging fruits

    The fruits on these trees look like candles, like those of Parmentiera cereifera - Candle Tree, but that species has compound leaves in 3's, not like the something like 14 leaflets of this tree. I didn't pay attention, and can't tell from my photos, whether it's an even or odd number of leaflets.

    This tree is on the south side of the road approaching Waimea Plantation Cottages from town.

    Thanks, Tony. I'm happy to be able to connect these fruits to the golden shower tree, which I've probably seen in bloom in Florida, but not in Hawaii, since it's supposed to bloom April to September.
