This looks suspiciously like a test question.

Look them up in a good book on tree identification. There are several available and you can find at least one of them in a good library.

Some spp. of white oaks. ? I know that there is a chestnut oak whose leaves are aptly named...Blackjack oak for center photo?---Acorns would be a great help.

It may be, but the community has decided that it doesn't matter. I personally don't answer what appear to be test questions (though I may hint), but to each their own. It'd be impossible to police in any case.

Last one is sort of like a chinquapin oak.

What area do you live in?

Pic #3 looks like a type of holly with the pointy looking tips around the edge of the leaves. Is it supposed to be an oak leaf as well cause I've never seen oak leaves looking like that? I'm from WV and took 2 years of Forestry at a local technical school years ago. The other leaves to look like they are from white oaks however I'm only familiar with some of the native species of my area. I did find an interesting little page that might be helpful to you.

Sugarflower, just as a point of interest, there is an evergreen oak called, Quercus ilex, which has variable leaves, some do look holly like. The common name is Holly oak or Holme oak. See....

Mjp1185, I am not suggesting this is what you have, as the pic is not clear enough. Photographing on to a plain white back ground might help with id.

I was trying to make an oak out of it. In that case it could be American holly, Ilex opaca.
