Can you tell me how long calla lillies seeds can be kept till you plant them. Also how do you store them. Just lay them till they dry or can you put them in a container tillyou are ready to plant them.

Wash them good with water and a little detergent to get the sticky surface clean. Dry them on a paper towel. When dry, place them in a small baggie in the refrigerator. They'll still be viable in a year.

You can also germinate them in the baggie by adding a damp snip of paper towel. They'll germinate in the frige and then must be planted in a growing medium.

I just leave mine alone where the mother plants are and they just start growing on their own and I either transplant them or give them away.
