this is my first hibiscus and i was curious what to do in the winter. it's still only early june but while im thinkin about it, i want to be prepared. the pot is a bit too large to be bringing in the house for the winter, and i was curious what to do with it outside and will it come back?

Certain types are quite hardy, I cut mine down to a short stump ever year, and they always come back. How cold does it get where you are?

If its not a tropical variety, then it should be fine, they can take fairly cold temperatures.
Last winter mine saw -7c as the coldest temperature.

The leaves of the hardy hibiscus are dull and a lighter green, the tropical hibiscus leaves are very shiny, dark green.
