Identification: What the heck is this plant

    I love this plant - I have no idea what it is - or how to care for it properly - I am hoping that someone can tell me something about it.

    the undersides of the leaves are purple?? or is that new growth that is purple?

    could be in the tradescantia family - possibly 'oyster plant' aka 'moses in a boat'

    Yes the undersides are purple...and there are little ??? seed pod/flowers that - now that you mention it could be taken for 'moses in a basket'. Thanks - will look it up.
