Welcome to the UBC forums. Although I cannot help you identify your plant, I want to thank you for introducing me to Chennai, which I had never heard of before (although I have known of Madras). After spending some time reading about it and looking at photos, I can see it is a very ancient, beautiful and exotic region.
Thank you for your reply Madras and chennai both are same. Current name of the Madras is called Chennai I hope heard that china president's recent visit to India. Actually he visited to chennai and stayed in Mahabalipuram - a historical town located near chennai. You can get pictures in online I hope you like it
