Hi All, I'm trying to identify this plant. I just removed this from the soil since I've seen crawling pests around this. Not sure if this is a cactus variety- (wait for 24 hrs until it gets callus) should I soak the roots before I repot or immediately repot this in soil? Im so confused. I hope you can help me. Thanks!
It doesn't look like a Cactus to me but I don't know what it could be. Sideways picture could help may be. Regardless of what it is definitely repot it as soon as you can. Don't soak the roots, just water well after repoting. May be posting in this forum Indoor and Greenhouse Plants could bring you better identification :-)
Thanks, Sundrop. :) I think I found a similar image. It looks like Variegated Cattleya. Here are some views I took photo. Not sure if I'd kill it. I soaked it in water
Looks like a Neoregelia to me (see Neoregelia Fireball 'Donger' for a sample). Or some other member of Bromelioideae.
